Who We Are & What We Do

Voice for Children, based in Crewe, is a consultancy service for children and young adults seeking support and guidance during and following their time as service users. The organisation is unique in the sense that the Director, Liam, has direct experience and a diverse understanding of exactly what it means to ‘be in care.’ The message that Voice for Children embodies is simple – ‘we know how it feels.’

VfC provides bespoke training designed specifically for vulnerable children & young people. This includes a unique training programme called 'the world through our eyes,' with proven results.

Voice for Children supports professionals to reflect on their practice and learn how to effectively engage with children and young people, to involve them in the decisions that directly affect their life and future.

VfC have years of experience volunteering on the Cheshire East Young People's Panel interviewing applicants for the local authority. During this time VfC received support to improve the effectiveness and impact of services to make futures brighter.

Voice for Children are now implementing their own mentoring programme to help support service users. We have also been working in Partnership with East Cheshire, West Cheshire, Halton Borough Council and Warrington Council.
